Yesterday we happened upon two fishers near #AlgonquinPark in #Ontario, #Canada. Knowing full well that fishers are not a threat to humans, we still made a point of staying back and using our zoom lens & binos to see these animals up close. #nature #wildlife #wilderness #fishers #naturephotography

A few weeks ago I mentioned juvenile bald eagles fighting for the top of a tree. I finally processed the photos today. One of them was injured (prior to the fight) and bleeding but it still won the fight.

Never give up.

Not great quality photos but the eagles were quite far and the photos are cropped.

I was fortunate to be under the flight path of thousands of waders coming into the high tide roost today, Knot (shown here), Dunlin and Grey Plover. The sight, (and sound) of so many birds passing so closely is always an uplifting experience. South Walney.
