My Robin friend Blackberry chatting. Blackberry hatched this spring and came into my life as a very inquisitive fledgling, and now waits for me every morning to turn up with a snack.
This 'chatting' behaviour is technically known as 'subsong' and it's still a bit of a mystery as to why birds do it.
