Hey @sigchi ! I've only now read about the new "Assisted Desk Rejects" for @chi 2027 (via @tonofcrates ), and I _really_ think this process needs some more transparency: would you please make public a) the "rubric" or prompt, and b) which specific LLM you're using for the process?

Parce que le contenu est parfaitement qualifié et structuré. Avoir un flux RSS, c'est faciliter la vie des bots en leur évitant des risques d'erreurs inhérentes au scraping sauvage.
Quand j'ai découvert ça, je me suis demandé si c'était bien pertinent, finalement, d'offrir des flux RSS quand on n'aime pas les bots. ;-/

Watching Wayne Brown in his capacity as Mayor of Auckland has been fascinating. The guy's an older right-wing bloke, but he's also an engineer, and it's made a startling difference. You can almost see him slipping leftwards against his own will because however right-wing he is, he's also tethered to reality in a way that so much of the right just isn't.
@iris_meredith my general impression of engineers is that they skew right. It seems like the ability to manipulate materials for profit generates an over-confidence in technological responses to predicaments caused by technology
