the transphobes and gender-critical crew *love* to hear trans women demonize testosterone, and they absolutely *do not give a shit* that trans women may not have any T in their systems at all.
they will take any ground you cede and ignore everything else.
the only move is to cede no ground. solidarity. you can’t let them in the back gate in exchange for your own safety.
The Israeli Consul General, Dani Dayan, showed up at Harvard Law to lecture students on “the legal strategy of Israeli settlements.”
The students didn’t debate him. They stood up, held signs that said settlements are a war crime, and walked out.
Occupation doesn’t get a polite lecture hall. It gets an empty room.

sorry for this long thread, but trying to respond to one video i picked from your recommendation.
towards the end he says: "phase out rental housing", but that is how i live and want to live. i am a perpetual nomad living minimally above the povert line and being able to change houses and travel is also quality of life rather than being locked in a small apartment for life.
the thing is, rent doesnt have to be expensive
@GhostOnTheHalfShell @ChrisMayLA6 @economics_that_works
why should everyone be forced ro own a house and make that their part time or full time business? there are many ways how people can earn income and the ways in which ppl so it have only gotten more diverse over time.
its also not that housing is the only thing that becomes unafordable - its many things because its a systemic problem, so lets just expand the solution of ppl organizing to everything maybe and then use division of labour?
BYD's latest model has been spotted testing in Brazil. I like how they've kept the iconic light bar around the front. Also appreciate the large cockpit display. The design is very human.
@KiwiEV The deployable middle finger 🖕device on the handle bar is a nice touch

@ajroach42 I was gonna say! that little mouse looks pretty nifty
and a week 😳 that's pretty awesome
@bds it consumes so little power!
I mean, I'm sure you could kill the batteries in a 12 hour stress test or whatever.
But I use mine for writing. Unlit screen, no radio, no moving parts, aggressive standby plus instant wake from sleep... I've used it for multiple hours a day, 5 days a week for multiple weeks in a row on a single set of rechargeable AAs.
mine will have wifi before the end of the month, we'll see what that does to the battery!

@MedeaVanamonde @candi Last year we got the first frost on August 23. And the first year we lived here we got our first significant snowfall on Sept. 30. September is frantically-harvest-everything month.
Good luck! 26 days to go then.
OMG I am so done. I asked Claude to arrange six little ducks. it arranged six little ducks. I was not ready for this one.

...but that wont be enough, because billionaires can attack economically in all kinds of ways and undermine the ppl trying to organize.
just like you can pay for and deploy tactics to bust unions you can so so by disrupting ppl organizing - even if it costs you a fortune - as long as you have a money printer, everyone else pays for your moves via inflation, not you, so billionaire scant go bust and attack forever
