Again, blacklist has no effect when a module is loaded with 'modprobe $module_name'. It only has effect if an attempt is made to load a module through an alias.
When you probe (hotplug or coldplug) all the devices on a bus, the kernel will attempt to load them through aliases (e.g.: vendor ID and product ID on PCI bus). Those in practice are registered as aliases of the kernel module.

@tzafrir You may be right here, that there are no cases where it is loaded through an alias. Relatedly, I thought I saw algif_aead loaded on modprobe of af_alg (alias net-pf-38) on Debian, but I can't replicate it now. It ought to be the other way around.

@ireneista Like the one I was involved with for a while ranged from new people coming in for help getting started/help installing on their laptop (very occasionally someone would haul a whole desktop in), to people who'd been using it for years, trading software recommendations, sometimes working on code in that 'we're spending time together but don't fucking talk to me' sort of way, etc. etc. it covered kind of a wide range of social functions.

Did two quick Baal T10 runs earlier, while the kids were brushing their teeth. The two runs dropped:
I had a normal version of the last two, was missing the first two for my next build.
An earlier Durien run dropped a Ring of Starless Skies mythic, and I crafted a Heir of Perdition helm.
I also scored an ancient Temerity pants from the Horadric Cube.
I guess that's all my luck in this season used up.
And by the end of the day, T11 unlocked with time to spare, and at least some of the lesser laid bosses are dead, can finish the internal hordes too.
My stash has a few upgrades waiting, and I'm spark and a few gems away from my third mythic.
I like the Horadric Cube, it makes gear farming a lot more predictable.
Also, for some odd reason, the season journal says I killed T12 Andariel, and looted her chest. I don't even have T12 unlocked. I haven't killed her on T11 either. Highest is on T10, and while she did have a few extra levels due to the War Plan stuff, that really shouldn't count. Tried it with Duriel, T10 with +8 levels on Duriel did not yield progress. Weird! Doesn't matter much though, I'll get there normally too, eventually.
