The number of newly enrolled #InternationalStudents in US #colleges dropped 17% this fall after the #Trump admin made it more challenging to obtain #StudentVisas [& jailed many legally here], data released Monday by the Institute of #International #Education shows.
The figures, based on a survey of >825 colleges & #universities, provide one of the clearest views of the potential impact of measures Trump’s admin has taken that make it more difficult for foreign students to come to the US.
