ICE director, without evidence, accuses police of sabotaging 2025 Aurora raids
Last year, Border Czar Tom Homan and U.S. Border Control Chief Michael Banks told right-wing FoxNews personalities that it was the media that leaked information about the pending Aurora raids, not police.
Rosen wrote that “*newly* discovered #evidence in this matter is materially inconsistent with the allegations” that #federal officials made in a charging #document & in courtroom #testimony.
“Accordingly, #dismissal with #prejudice will serve the interests of #justice,” wrote Rosen, who was nominated by #Trump to be #USattorney in #Minnesota.

The chief federal judge in #Minnesota says the #Trump admin has failed to comply with orders to hold hearings for detained immigrants & ordered the head of #ICE to appear Friday to explain why he shouldn’t be held in #contempt.
In an order Monday, Chief Judge Patrick J. Schiltz said #ToddLyons, the acting director of ICE, must appear personally in court. Schlitz took the admin to task over its handling of bond hearings for immigrants it has detained.
