Sometimes it's quite satisfying to look back at the pet portraits I've done over the years and see how my skills have improved. This is one from earlier this year that I'm quite proud of. His name is Vinny and he's my sister's anxious little chi-weenie. 12x12; completed in 2025.

Today's portrait is Cuqui (pronounced "kooky")

I am posting Cuqui in part as a tribute to the friend who commissioned her portrait and who unfortunately passed away yesterday very unexpectedly. She was always such a big supporter of my art and it doesn't feel real that she's suddenly gone. I don't have any other social media, but at least here I thought it appropriate to honor her friendship and memory in some small way. 💛
