Start a #MutualAid and #SelfDefense block group in your neighborhood. Define roles, jobs, tasks to organize your neighborhood. Establish extra capacity for first aid, improvised housing of people, building both knowledge and supplies of food and medical supplies.
In other words, start long-term community planning and prepping. Coordinate with your neighbors especially those that share your concerns.
Begin now. Action leads to action and confidence.
The UAW has called for a General Strike May 1, 2028. That's a big union. What can we be doing before then. That's 2 years of planning and a lot of direct action that can be happening before then.
Start saving your money for prolonged disruption. Start thinking about what your role can be now in your community and what role you can play in a General Strike. Plan to offer mutual aid in your community. Start meeting with neighbors now and with fellow workers.
