in Catholic folklore (it鈥檚 not in the bible), JC died for our sins at 3pm. he ressurrected about 44 hours later, around 11 am. that鈥檚 why the main Good Friday and Easter masses are held at very specific hours, so parts of the mass can be timed to the floklore schedule.
