@Taweret Frankenstein meets the space monster seems the least good, so I chose it.
Seeing that it is in 1st place after I voted, makes me happy.
The #Monsterdon spirit is alive and well.
Carry on, good people.

For anyone looking for more Greek Myth: I recommend Theia Mania by A Gnosis https://theiamania.thecomicseries.com/

(Tumblr at https://a-gnosis.tumblr.com/ )

Note: LOTS of content warnings for sex, sexual assault, incest, kidnapping, etc, pretty much anything you'd find in Greek myth.

It is a much more accurate take on the myths, but also HEAVILY adapted for 2020s storytelling; it is a Hades/Persephone love story, and both are VERY autistic.

#Monsterdon

#Monsterdon fun tidbit from the DVD extras that came with my AppleTV version: for the two-headed wolf which is furry, earlier animations tended to have a problem where the fur would get messed with as the animator manipulated the model for each frame -- they mostly avoided this for this instance by being careful to touch the model as much as possible on the _back side_ that's not facing the camera, so it doesn't muss the fur on the visible side!
#ClashOfTheTitans shows us that it's okay to watch a decent movie for #Monsterdon.

The slow pace of the creepy scenes worked great. The combat with Medusa was especially taut. But the whole movie was that slow, even in exposition scenes. It seemed to take forever for Perseus to get his gear together. And the movie came to a dead halt every time we visited Zeus's executive suite.

It was lovely to see so much Harryhausen stop motion. The giant scorpions were great. Bubo the Owl was very cute. But I think some things could have been a puppet (Charon), or a just a guy in heavy makeup and appliances (Calibos).

Finally, I applaud all the big name actors for taking the material seriously and giving us their best, with only a wee bit of scenery chewing.

Thanks everyone for selecting this, and thanks @Taweret for hosting!
