This is one of those quilts that went unnamed the whole time I was working on it (I just referred to it as the create banner.) Sometimes it just takes awhile for the perfect name to make itself known -

Improv pieced letters that read "To Create is To Resist". The letters are sewn from a series of tone-on-tone rainbow fabrics, with the first and last letter being red and the other letters mirroring each other, front to middle to back, in this order: pink, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, purple. The center word "Is" is pieced from tone-on-tone black fabric and the background fabric for the entire 5 foot plus banner is white.

Some weeks ago I wrote about the protests in #Ukraine against the governments attempts to break up anti-corruption office. The protest won and the law was replaced by a new one restoring independence of the organization.
