@Edent these aren't actually standard features like in posts. But many clients support them anyway, yeah. For mentions, it's enough to just make a link (<a>) to the target actor, and hashtags work like this:
<a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/smithereen" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>smithereen</span></a>, the other server will rewrite the URL to its own domain
