A spaventare il mercato è il profondo cambio di strategia annunciato dal gruppo sull’elettrico, che si tradurrà in oneri complessivi per 22,2 miliardi di euro, una perdita netta nel secondo semestre compresa tra i 19 e i 21 miliardi, la sospensione del dividendo nel 2026 e una nuova emissione di obbligazioni ibride perpetue.
Secondo l'AD Filosa, gran parte dei costi deriva da una sovrastima della velocità della transizione energetica, che avrebbe allontanato Stellantis «dalle esigenze, dalle possibilità e dai desideri reali di molti acquirenti di autovetture». Un errore di valutazione che ora impone una revisione profonda dei piani industriali e di prodotto.

Dictators love to revise history. In my research for the next video, I was looking for The White House press briefing of January 22, 2017, because in it The White House made a false statement.
The video has been deleted.
Picture 1 shows a screenshot of the video, where Sean Spicer wore a light grey suit. This screenshot is from CNN where a clip from the video was used.
Picture 2 shows this video no longer exists among the oldest of the archived White House videos.

Yeah this is why my timeline here is so small. I kicked out so many of my follows when they were on the wrong side of "badspace transphobic". And a few waves of cleaning out my follows after that.
I did try to get a foot into bsky but kinda didn't get the hang of it somehow. But that's a me issue, having difficulties to find my bearings in a new to me space in general.
@ranja I hear you. I was on Bluesky for awhile, but was going to leave when they pivoted to being a friendly place for bigots.
Fortunately Blacksky came around so I could just leave but keep the lil community I built there.

I built my wife a tool to survive her PhD and thought other researchers might want it too. Zotero's essential for citations, but she was struggling to know what to read next versus what she'd already read.
Paperstack is basically Goodreads for academic papers. Import from Zotero, sort by stack and tag, achieve calm.

And - this is how fucking naive I was - I remember just bursting into tears when he was elected. I was so overwhelmed with joy. I thought... oh, finally, maybe the arc is really bending. People will see that he's not scary and decent, and it will shift their racist sentiments.
I think exactly the opposite happened.
Taught me something profound, that did. I realised there was never any rationally addressing their fears.
@Remittancegirl @StillIRise1963 Saaame. Obama’s election was the first election I witnessed as a US resident. I felt validated about moving to USA. Everything was progressing. It’s truly heartbreaking to see it end like this. The other I was talking to the guy about going back to my home country which I haven’t thought in a very long time.
