#Zenodo addresses recent outages and slow loading times, noting a strong increase in usage and a suspected impact from automated and #AI driven access. They outline planned measures to stabilize and further improve the infrastructure 👍
Asking the #OpenScience Hivemind: been spending the last couple of weeks discovering that a lot of tools that I use, that download databases stored on #Zenodo, are failing with 403. But downloading the file manually via a `wget` command works... It happens regardless of which network I'm on.
For example `aria2` commands won't work with any Zenodo link, and I've noticed @oschwengers 's `bakta download_db` isn't working..
Does anyone know what is going on? Has Zenodo got a new policy or rules?
Anyone else here adding data to a GH repo for archiving on #Zenodo that uses the `.zenodo.json` file, and knows how to find the info for a grant so that it can be included in the json schema of `.zenodo.json`?
This page lists all the fields that can be represented, but does not tell one how to determine a grant "id" so it can go in the .zenodo.json file. Do I get that from OpenAIRE??

Seems like #Zenodo does not work currently. Can someone else please check?

#ORCID authentication, #OpenAlex integration, #Zenodo #DOI generation etc. This community owned open science example based on #Bonfire looks very promising. Have a look at https://openscience.network

I have a practical question for sharing a data reduction pipeline on both @swheritage and #Zenodo. The code is hosted on GitHub, and I've just made the repo public. Is it better to 1) save the code on SWH and then on Zenodo or 2) save the code on Zenodo and wait for it to be automatically archived on SWH?

I had good intention when I put the #ROOT idea on osf.io but somehow they deleted the node and blocked my account . This was my first attempt to use osf.io – and my last one. Very sad.
So, to refer to the #ROOT idea regarding #resilienttechnologies you still can use the DOI on #Zenodo : https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17157587
