The US has bombed the Iranian island of Larak in The Strait of Hormuz to disable two Iranian missile launchers which the US claims were about to fire mines into the strait.
Iran has responded by bombing US bases in Jordan.

I've been playing Snapdots for DS lately, and I'm *amazed* I've never heard anyone talk about this game before. This is so cool! Really unique spin on a picross-style pixel drawing game. Gets hard though!

Which server's admin pays? Is the translation done by the server of the toot's author or by that of the toot's reader? (I suspect the latter.)
The translation runs on the server of the person clicking "translate", so yes it's the reader who pays.

Offending content is essentially unreportable if the server is blocked by the user even when the content is public and on servers you otherwise federate with.
This seems like a MASSIVE admin oversight in Mastodon.
For whatever this is worth (and I know this is a pain so I'm NOT suggesting this situation is acceptable) a workaround might be to copy the URL of the offending post from the offender's server's website and DM your server admin (and the admin of the offender's server if you haven't blocked it) directly with a message that includes the URL.
Another alternative is unblocking, reporting and then blocking. But again to be clear I'm not saying it's acceptable to be forced to do this.
Or, perhaps I'm just not good at video games at all anymore.

This third season of #Silo felt like it had gotten off to a slow start, and I wasn't quite sure it was gripping me.
Closer to mid-season, the plot was really cooking with gas. And that explosive ending in episode 9? Yowza! 😜
