@ASegar WTF!
This is scary in the extreme.
Enough of this sh*t…

Prof’s reply…
“Please note that my course does not “advocate” any ideology; I teach students how to structure & evaluate arguments commonly raised in discussions of contemporary moral issues.” (See “The Charade of Banning ‘Advocacy’“.) Greetings Dr. Peterson,

Thank you for your email. The College leadership team and | have discussed your syllabus and the Provost office’s requirements for compliance with the new system rule 08.01. You have two options going forward:

1. You may mitigate your course content to remove the modules on race ideology and gender ideology, and the Plato readings that may include these.
2. You may be reassigned to teach PHIL 482 501-514. Lecture times for this course are T/Th 8:00 - 9:15.
Please let us know by end of business tomorrow how you would like to proceed.

Sincerely,

Kristi

Trump’s DOJ Pressured Lawyers to “Find” Evidence That UCLA Had Illegally Tolerated Antisemitism
---

“The end goal was never to conduct a thorough, unbiased investigation,” said one DOJ lawyer. “The end goal was to file a damn complaint — or have something to threaten the university.”

https://www.lemonde.fr/idees/article/2025/07/08/les-groupes-de-niveau-un-echec-politique-face-aux-inegalites-du-college_6619826_3232.html

At tribal colleges, scholarships funded by a USDA grant have been suspended amid the Trump administration’s widespread cost-cutting.

Now some students are facing their final weeks on campus.

She’s on a Scholarship at a Tribal College in Wisconsin. The Trump Administration Suspended the USDA Grant That Funded It.

Tribal colleges and universities, which ProPublica last year found are perpetually underfunded by Congress, say it’s illegal to withhold financial support from them. Their funding is protected by treaties and other legal obligations on the federal government.
