I started working on a small #antifa game. I've been thinking about a brawler where you beat up Nazis for a long time now. I'm actually a big proponent of mass organization, which doesn't always work well with being •too much• into the punching part, but aesthetically of course punching Nazis is very appealing.
After Spiderman beat up Jake Lang here in Minneapolis it became obvious that this dream must become a reality.
Anyway I am working on some design docs using a hyperlink note taking app I found on FlatHub and I started something in LibGDX that so far mostly does parallax backgrounds and not much else. If this is something that appeals to you, and you want to collaborate or mentor, let me know. Finding collaborators for projects is something that I've always found hard to do, which has doomed me in the past. But, I have a good feeling that this time it might work, solo or team.
@anarchist_archivist is going to do art. She might like collaboration too.
The Oregon Trail reboot that the world needs right now. Postcard from my collection, no date/info.
"And if you look at many of the trials that have been done around the world, those people that really need that money, when they're given it, usually the first things they do spend it on are clothing for their families, healthcare appointments, groceries, food. But people have different circumstances and they need to use that money in different ways."

"We want the best expertise to be in the public service. I don't think we should be buying in that expertise, particularly if it's being done on a regular basis."

Hello everyone!
We just shipped a bunch of fixes and improvements to prepare for the new webUI and mobile app!
The team also cleared up the backlog of issues and pull requests, as we prepare to release the next major version.
@pixelfed i cant login trough any app, is it related to this?
I mean brey, folks never follow this shit to their logical conclusions:
if the Trump administration is saying an anarchist collective are terrorists for sharing ideas about resistance and self-governance, then they are saying those are terrorist ideas. And that means it's only a matter of time before they come for Americans, who talk about those same things.
You never do the math. You're always on about why nothing matters. But Hitler is telling you what he's about as we speak.
@GramrgednAngel
Hey Karen.
Have I told you how much value you add to my life?
I have been remiss, and I don't think I have.
But you're one of my faves, and I regard you as a friend I've never met.
@GeePawHill Wow, thanks.
And back atcha. We're on a wavelength most of the time, you and me.
New by Sabot Media x We Will Free Us:
The U.S. government just put an antifascist communications collective on a terrorism blacklist.
For 25 years, Autistici/Inventati has built communications systems designed to survive censorship, surveillance, police raids and corporate interference. Now the state is attacking something harder to seize than a server: the financial and technological relationships that allow that infrastructure to exist.
Now that infrastructure itself is being treated as evidence of terrorism, and solidarity is turning into “material support.”
This isn't only an attack on A/I. It's a warning to anyone building servers, encrypted communications, independent publishing platforms and other infrastructure that makes organizing beyond state and corporate surveillance possible.
Please read and share. September 25th is approaching. Learn what is happening and don’t let the state write the only version of this story.

@samiamsam @rayckeith I think we don't know for sure. But I think it's not obvious, either way.
this particular video notes the slow mail is intended for students at a liberal university
also, USPS used to stamp the date the mail was received at a post office on the envelope -- now it stamps the date that the mail was PROCESSED on the envelope... which can be days later.
combined with recent Supreme Court decision that valid vote-by-mail has to have the election-day date-stamp on it
this could mean that post office workers who are not allowed to work overtime on election day, may not be able to process all the received vote-by-mail envelopes by the end of their workday... meaning possibly large numbers of mail-in-ballots received on election day would not be date-stamped on election day.
and if the ballots were late to get to the voters they could be late to vote.
Places like Oregon could end up with much lower voting numbers than usual. though... voters who know about this USPS thing can drop the ballots at the drop-boxes to avoid the second trip through the mail.
My wife bought new salad cutlery and because of the weird number of arms on the fork my first impulse was "that's AI". Which of course doesn't make sense because I was holding the object in my hands.

Like, there is nothing materially wrong with this analysis, the bit about Trump being jealous of Leavitt's baby is even inspired, but at the end of it all you're left with is a lib gotcha meme you can post on Daily Kos.
These people are functionally useless to anyone who isn't a rich maggot donor looking to feel better about profiting from Trump's fascist rule while "morally" opposing it.

I mean brey, they are not letting me into the Guardian to tell you to rise up and throw this Hitler out of office before he fucks us all forever. That isn't happening.
But Sid can. That he doesn't, speaks volumes.
Milo "ICE checkpoints at supermarket entrances, gas stations, strip malls, intersections, and government buildings with on-the-spot deportation of anyone unable to prove they were legally in the United States." Yiannopoulos has been busted by ICE. The really odd sound you hear is me cackling like a manic.

@sjvn Oh no. Even with the irony don't give this blob any publicity
@nileane Is it the headphones you mentioned on comfort zone recently?
@refactoredd no 😶
Also, it's hard when you've met some of the people writing these editorials right? Like when I read Sid's writing, I hear Sid's voice in my head and that is not something I'd wish on my worst enemy.

there is nothing like listening to one of your absolute classics in your music library with a fancy pair of headphones and hearing things in the song that you never heard before 🖤
