There is this strange, repetitive, deep wooing going on outside the window, like a introverted foghorn going off. Never misses a beat. What a rhythm!

I believe it's actually a bird, a Common Bronzewing.

Oh! a brief pause, then he's joined by his missus. Deep whooing in tandem now.

Here are some unedited JPEGs. Not good shots and the harsh sun didn't help at all. But happy to found these two in the park.

My friends back home don't believe me when I say that parrots and cockatoos are common birds that you can see on your way to work.
