Here’s a chart for #bikeTooter, via a BlueSky post shared by a bridged George Monbiot post.

Kind of speaks for itself
@urlyman those fatalities in Belgium not looking good... no surprise, tho. I dabble in the ol' sign-language fights with drivers at least once a week here
at least 2 schools for #solar enclosures (a 3rd one= buy a box ready: "meshtastic solar enclosure" making sure the board is supported by #reticulum):
- for my balcony and/or if i have no time, i would get a 40Euros quasi-ready-made enclosure, in which i only have to add the board of my choice, because it's simple;
- if i want something very cheap, for instance if i want to build 10 and give them away or leave them in places where.. hmm they may get damaged or disappear, then i'd go for a DIY that could go down to 20 bucks (including the batteries) + the board

London’s low emission zone is working – so why are cities around the world so cautious about clean air?

Rheinmetall made my dream product come true: Invisible EV charging.
No giant charging stations in a million colors polluting the visual experience of every city. Just a discrete socket in the curb.
Please, could we agree that this future is SO much better?
@randahl I think it looks neat, but as others have noted, this does not replace fast chargers which are bulky for a reason, nor does it seem like a good idea to have a ground-level socket that's pointed towards the sky collecting water and grime.
I guess personally I'd prefer them in walls and such because that's totally viable
Seeing how it is actually possible to reduce the number of cars and how much the remaining cars pollute even in large cities – and how that has a real tangible effect on children's health and well being makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
A better world is possible. Not just in theory.

I've had 3 double espressos and think I might be invincible. Quick, throw stuff at me.
The second element I have heard a few times now: "AI" written code is not seen as "my" code by coders. They don't feel attached to it in the way they do with code they have written themselves. Hence they are not really "feeling" for it, so they are also not really interested in making it better or defending it in the review cycle. Just tweak the prompt and move on. This is having a real impact on motivation, discussion and results. It is hard to put in metrics, though.

🎓 A formal degree and algorithmic problem-solving is the answer. Always has been.
「 If I had to categorize the “no need for education, no need for algorithms” crowd of our field, they’d fall into three categories: They either focus on the wrong things when developing software, they have a very shallow knowledge and lack of regard of how difficult good engineering is, or they’re utterly clueless and rely on good soft skills and politics 」
@jbz
They have no idea what they are talking about, nor could make their mind up about the whole topic if the "formal CS degree is a requirement to do software engineering in the post-AI (sic!) world".
@spacelizard specifically these 3 frames across the release, watch what your bow hand is doing
@jpm OK, my hand does rotate after release but I think that's an unavoidable consequence of rotating my elbow clockwise during my draw for string clearance. Once the compressive load comes off my bow arm my hand wants to follow the prior rotation of my elbow.
By that point I'm no longer holding the bow anyway, it's already jumped forward into my finger sling.
@elettrona @pgo @marcocappato una cosa è non avere diritti, un'altra è non applicarli.
