what if, rather than saying the local murder rate was lower than the traffic fatality rate(!), this article said that traffic violence is the top method of murder?

Quand on y repense, l'automobile c'est une arnaque depuis le début. C'est le vélo qu'on devrait appeler automobile : pour se déplacer soi-même.

@cbcottawa_mirror this is a ridiculous headline.
Pedestrians don't have fatal collisions.
This person was struck and killed by a motor vehicle which was ostensibly under the "control" of another person.

After an extremely similar situation in Seattle, NYPD cops were seen this passed week getting into a serious collision with each other and nearly running over a 3rd cop who just happened to be directing traffic.
Seems like this time the cops entered the war on cars on all sides.

I had a dream that me and my friends decided to create a theme park but it the themes were like how the automobile industry destroyed the world’s largest network of passenger rail
@danirabbit Hell yeah, @TheWarOnCars theme park! :D
New project for them after they're done with their book tour 😁
After the Seattle police killed an innocent pedestrian Jaahnavi Kandula in a case of reckless driving local police watchers have paid more attention to the driving records of Seattle cops.
Recently disclosed video from August shows how not even the cops are safe from other boys in blue behind the wheel.

Tech companies have plenty of bad ideas they say will improve transportation — but the car remains a menace.

Looking at pictures of downtown Denver from the early 20th century I was struck by how Denver’s vast electric trolley system played so nicely with both human and equine pedestrians. The spacious streets, initially designed to allow large herds of cattle to be driven through them, don’t seem wide at all today, so bloated are these dangerous machines we drive through them now. #WarOnCars
