Seeing as #webdev, especially in the #drupal sphere, has taken such a downturn, this coming week will be filled with a 3 day induction while completing security clearance prior to starting a temporary driving job.

OK wow so looks like this apartment complex is literally allowing people with serious mental problems in the place, and I' talking people who have a tendency to behave in a disruptive way, I just witnessed one person in the reception area being disruptive, banging something, and previously this guy upset another resident. I'm sorry but this is not a mental asylum, and its certainly not that god forsaken care home called Kinloss! Good god! I've lived here for nearly 4 years, but I'm starting to question things, and I'm gonna put in a complaint not just about this, but there's other things they should be doing but don't, and now this just adds to it.

I see a lot of people here who are adamantly against AI. Since I'm a techy I like to investigate new technology, and I would like to stress that a whole bunch of developers with me feel like they have no choice when it comes to the usage of LLM's.
The tone that people are adopting doesn't feel constructive at all. At times it feels downright aggressive. I get where this comes from, AI is an unethical technology at lots of points.

Meaning, the “use genAI or get left behind/fired” is a pretty aggressive way of dropping this thing on people’s heads.
It’s weird to call for a constructive debate when the folks pushing genAI aren’t adopting the asked stance.
