We just got a game about poop in London before the sewer and, between this and the Zheng He game, frankly, I am getting paranoid that developers are tapping into my spinal fluid to make games about my intrusive thoughts. #boardgames

@implementcontrols Not for me, but it looks fun! There's a TON of these (including the original Monopoly, which was then called "The Landlord's Game" and was an anti-monopoly game). My favorite is "Class Struggle," which is very good fun.

Working with the theme of having the cat with us while playing boardgames, tonight we played Calico. December game no.11.

Last night's #boardgames included The Quest for El Dorado. It was described as "a deckbuilding race game", and that plus the player aid was almost all I needed to understand it. Easy to learn, some planning required, and a close race at the end. Apparently it always is, which (as one player pointed out) means they did an amazing job at playtesting and balancing it.
