I do this for a living; I don't generally discuss unsold work in public (but I'm currently working on spinning up a space opera setting with at least two books in it). I have a career's worth of unfinished projects behind me: when I get through this final redraft of the WIP I'll probably pick up an unfinished novella from a couple of years ago and push it past the finish line.

Most of the extra length comes from scenes with the Fremen that end up making it feel more coherent, and it cuts the rain at the end

A part of the "hidden curriculum" of academia that was entirely unknown to me until fairly late in my career is the thing where people cold-email each other about meeting up at conferences.

So obviously annoyed at the temerity of his readers to call him out.
Perviously, I saw the info graphics creeping into his feed and noted how he deliberately bigged up his interns for ‘their’ work.
If that’s how he reads the room, I think he’ll find it empties pretty quickly.

Quelqu'un connaît une bonne app pour suivre le suivi des migraine sans compte sur un service en ligne ? Ça peut être un app qui fait autre-chose, ceci dit, tant que peux noter des événements datés et en tirer des statistiques.
Les besoins :
1. Noter la date et l'heure d'une crise
2. Générer des statistiques de fréquence
3. En particulier pouvoir noter le début d'un nouveau traitement de fond pojr déterminer s'il fait bien baisser la fréquence des crises.

If someone changes their name, by deed poll, the extremely vast majority of other people can work with that very quickly. I've never seen anyone doing "Hey Phil, you just don't look like a David so I'll keep calling you Phil".
The fact that someone decides they want to be referred to as *how they feel* rather than necessarily how they appear, and others won't/don't/can't accept that is as baffling to me as apparently the pronouns thing is to them.
