Spider #monkeys pool their knowledge to find the best fruit https://phys.org/news/2026-01-spider-monkeys-pool-knowledge-fruit.html https://www.nature.com/articles/s44260-025-00060-0

"the monkeys don't copy or follow each other or wander randomly. Their movements usually complement one another, with different monkeys exploring different areas to fill in the gaps for the rest of the troop... they stay far enough apart so that each one can scout its own area without significant overlap with another monkey. But close enough to touch base and share what they have learned"

The Solomon Islands #skink Corucia zebrata , also affectionately known as the monkey-tailed skink.
They have prehensile tails like #monkeys.
They are the largest species of skink alive with a long, slender body poised elegantly on short, yet robust legs. Their head forms a perfect triangle, housing small, beady and curious looking eyes. This magnificent #reptile is now threatened due to rainforest destruction of their home #globalmuseum #animals #reptiles
