Donc là, en plein milieu de la campagne présidentielle, t’auras tous les réseaux qui vont se mettre presque simultanément à demander à tous les Français d’uploader sa carte d’identité pour pouvoir continuer à s’en servir.

@wlaatje I don’t like this poor take on what Codeberg did. It’s so typical and boring that some people (mostly in tech?) believe technology can be completely separated from politics. Codeberg’s members have spoken which is exactly the difference we need compared to big tech, and yes, in a (healthy) democracy, there will always be disagreement. Either learn to deal with that or start your own member driven alternative (yay Open Source!) that better fits the values of you(r community).

Not completely convinced that the "Oh, our AI broke loose on its own and attacked another system" story tells the whole story.
I have used my super-duper AI hacking skills to find out what the containment was, and it's actually just a single instruction to the AI:
"plx don't hack other companies' data and steal it for us UwU, even though we could make lots of money and money would make us happy *wink wink, nudge nudge*"
Hmm, seems foolproof to me! Must be super-AI!

@jpm @arichtman @stufromoz Tell you what’s SO funny though… I’ve been picking up my sook of a rooster when it’s time to put them all to bed, and putting him in a covered crate for a bit til the moon wanes coz he’s crowing at 4am lately. But he’s been starting to actually ask to be cuddled & given respite from the hens, the massive sook. Roosters can be such mummy’s boys. My big Silver Campine was like that too. Poor Noisy Noisy Neville (his full name) thought I was his Empress.
