@stufromoz oh, my poor chooks. It’s still only gonna hit a -1 here apparently but I’ll feed them a nice warm mash of oats and weetbix with their layer pellets in the morning.

@jpm @arichtman @stufromoz Tell you what’s SO funny though… I’ve been picking up my sook of a rooster when it’s time to put them all to bed, and putting him in a covered crate for a bit til the moon wanes coz he’s crowing at 4am lately. But he’s been starting to actually ask to be cuddled & given respite from the hens, the massive sook. Roosters can be such mummy’s boys. My big Silver Campine was like that too. Poor Noisy Noisy Neville (his full name) thought I was his Empress.
