We don't appreciate how great it is to have free art galleries in this country. You can just wander in to so many places and have the most relaxing time away from life's stresses, and it doesn't cost a penny. You don't even have to be an art fan to find the peace in that.

In allem, was Merz so von sich gibt, und wie er es tut, kommt unzweifelhaft die Prägung seines toxischen Nazi-Oppas zu Tage (so einen hatte ich auch, ich weiß wovon ich rede). Dadurch fällt zwar das Einordnen leichter - aber das Ganze wird umso unerträglicher. #SchwereSchuld hat jede*r einzelne CDU Wählende auf sich geladen, uns diesen Typ eingebrockt zu haben.

@nolan First, thanks for a very interesting article! I share your fears when it comes to the bread-and-butter kind of gigs a frontend developer historically does.
But the optimist in me thinks that maybe, maybe this could open up to more artistic works where clients want to have something else than what’s dominating the LLM’s. I’m not sure all clients ”care” about such things but it’s what we as a group can hope for. Or some of us at least. ♥️
@naton Yeah, I might be lacking imagination here for what comes next. Maybe striking out and doing something totally *against* the tide of LLMs is the right move. 🙂
Mont Megantic seems to be a place where black bears are rarely spotted, they don't make a pest of themselves around the campgrounds or anything, so I'm not really worried, I'd just obviously take basic precautions like not keeping anything that might attract bears with me in the tent. But my friend is used to camping in places where bears are a lot more common, so she's determinedly bringing an air horn and bear spray. Which hey, guess it doesn't hurt to be cautious!

Well, that's a first, blocked some random person attacking me for being a beekeeper. 🤷
(apparently, there is some segment of the vegan population who believe it's a moral crime for harvesting honey).
@ai6yr Vegan here, I can explain the gripe:
Primarily it's because of mutilating the queen and clipping her wings so she can't fly and leave the hive. Though I've heard a few beekeepers say they don't do that.
Secondarily, however, philosophically it's because the honey was never made for us. It "belongs" to the bees.
....that said, without beekeepers I have no idea how many of our crops would be pollinated right now, so I wax more philosophical about this than many vegans do.
Oh, there's also the environmental argument that honeybees displace native bees.
