Mont Megantic seems to be a place where black bears are rarely spotted, they don't make a pest of themselves around the campgrounds or anything, so I'm not really worried, I'd just obviously take basic precautions like not keeping anything that might attract bears with me in the tent. But my friend is used to camping in places where bears are a lot more common, so she's determinedly bringing an air horn and bear spray. Which hey, guess it doesn't hurt to be cautious!
