@lukaskluge @aral We have been doing this on a weekly basis in the small town of Westport for well over a year - yes it gives visibility, it's important, but I feel so discouraged, furious, devastated, heartbroken. I also tag governments/EU here and on shitty Bluesky, but looks like nobody cares enough to set aside their own little national interests to just #StopIsrael ...

A credible source shows the truth on every side, not just the one that fits a certain narrative. Take the conflict between Israel and Palestine, for example. It has lasted decades. If a news outlet always portrays one side as righteous and the other as evil — that's not real journalism. Both sides have committed atrocities, and real news should say that. BBC News does just that. Not surprising, they upset, both sides (Israel and Palestine). Do you know what I think about that? GOOD. It means they're doing their job.

Future generations will learn:

• That Israel committed genocide in Palestine.
• That “The West” allowed it to happen and many Western countries profited and were complicit in it.
• The names of those who were complicit.

This isn’t a call to change your behaviour. At this point, we know very well who stands on which side of history.

This is just a reminder to be prepared because justice will be served.
