Hmm. As a European, the only things there I'd really miss are potatoes and chilli peppers (and other capsicums).
As for beans, the old world is MUCH better than the new. We don't only have soya (meh). We have haricots, broad/fava beans, cannellini, butter beans. Old world beans are infinitely better than anything we have got from the Americas.

Parliament is all a bit silly with their traditions (actual and made up) but it seems to enchant and absorb those who partake.

De Nederlandse zorgverzekeraars hebben in 2025 een historisch hoog financieel resultaat behaald. Per verzekerde bleef er gemiddeld 92 euro over, het hoogste bedrag in ten minste vijf jaar. Dit blijkt uit een recente analyse van Kompas in Zorg en BS Health Consultancy.
De zorgverzekeraars steken de winst weer in het eigen vermogen dat in 2025 flink is gestegen. Zo groeide het eigen vermogen bij VGZ en ONVZ met maar liefst 19 procent.

@petrillic astral the company that makes uv stole my ideas from pip and took credit for them and sold that shit to openai and it definitely got me thinking twice about ever contributing for free again
@petrillic there are a couple things i'm going to file defensive patents for in the next few years. not sure USPTO will be on my side, but a patent at least lets me scare the shit out of people profiting off of it
