• it simplifies the freedom of association: domain-blocking Fosstodon and a few other instances greatly improves the qualities of one's replies

@Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange Imho the objective killer feature is the interoperability between the different types of services (Lemmy, Peertube, Pixelfed etc.), but people seem to barely use it. It would probably be a big deal on the commercial alternatives.
