20241030 | The Tree at the Japanese Garden
Took this at a very arduous time in my life,,,
My relationship with a dear-one of many years was crumbling, and this was taken during, I think, our last event together before we ended
The peace that the Portland Japanese Garden provides is definitely soothing and I have gone back solo and with many folks and it's always serene
If you ever make it to #pdx, please go! It's so pretty!

The Ladds 500 in #pdx is such a cool event!
2025 was the first (and only thus far) I got to attend and probably did close to 100 laps around the traffic circle.
Wasn't able to attend in 2026 as I was recovering from knee surgery, but I hope to attend in 2027!

Most of my friends have heard me go "whoaaaaaaa the light is incredible!! oh my god!!" and this day was no exception!
I couldn't help myself by boosting the reds just a bit in post, but it was really really red-orange in real life
