“Pittoresk” / Picturesque

This is probably the most picturesque “postcard” photo I’ve taken, shot through a car window in northern Idaho. At the bottom you can see the confluence of three rivers, where the Lochsa and Selway meet to form the Clearwater River.

A landscape photo of rivers, hills, clouds, and sky. Two rivers, divided by an island of shrubs, join to form a third that snakes off into the distance between hills forested with green conifers. Above the crest of the hills is a mass of cumulus clouds, set aglow with golden light by the afternoon sun.
