🗣️ Prior to 2020, I never really thought about what it takes to run an election. That changed when I saw the courage of Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss—two #election workers in #FultonCounty, Georgia. Despite being falsely accused and facing intense harassment, they stood firm in their integrity. Their bravery opened my eyes to the human side of election work and inspired me to step up and participate in the process myself…

🇺🇸Since 2023, I’ve served as a volunteer poll worker in both local and national elections. This upcoming Special Election in March will be my 6th time serving.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
▪️ Poll workers are the soul of our democracy. Whether it’s a town vote or a presidential race, the process is the same.
▪️ There’s a nationwide shortage. We need neighbors helping neighbors to keep polling places open.
▪️ Volunteerism is #patriotism.
