A really interesting poll was run by Martin Lewis, a journalist and campaigner in the UK.

It asked who the UK should lean towards in the current political climate, and whether the voter was a 'Remainder' or 'Leaver' in the EU referendum.

His published results, below, show response based on platform.

Only on X did any type of voter side with the US.

I wonder what the results would be here 馃憖

Note: There was no way to prevent inauthentic responses in this poll.

A screenshot of a Facebook post by Martin Lewis. It reads "Really interesting to see how yesterday's vote result varied by platform. The poll was... who should the UK lean towards aligning with more, the USA or the EU. Vote split by whther you were a Remainer or a Leaver. The results..."

There is then a table which displays:

Remainers on X: 9% to US. 58% to EU
Leavers on X: 21% to US. 13% to EU.
Total vote: 44,000

Remainers on Facebook: 3% to US. 81% to EU.
Leavers on Facebook: 6% to US. 11% to EU.
Total vote: 83,000

Remainers on Instagram: 3% to US. 82% to EU.
Leavers on Instagram: 5% to US. 10% to EU.
Total vote: 48,000

Reaminers on Threads: 1% to US. 58% to EU.
Leavers on Threads: 1% to US. 9% to EU.
Total vote: 3,000
