They only have 600 cops.
The populace is 400k Americans.
Gun ownership is estimated at 45% of Minneapolis households.
If even 1-5% of housholds decided to violently oppose ICE with force, they would outnumber ICE on day one.
I can see why the vet above says ICE will loose if Americans stop being peaceful.
Back to the lawsuits, the State of Illinois also announced they will be suing DHS over CBP+ICE conduct in Illinois & especially Chicago.
Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias is zeroing in on ICE breaking state laws, like plate swapping
They launched a hotline to report ICE swapping car license plates.

This lawsuit is possibly even more damning than Minnesota's.
Illinois AG Kwame Raoul laid out what ICE/CBP are technically allowed to do when operating in the interior of the country.
Largely ICE needs a warrant or very clear probable cause to detain or question a person. They typically need to know long in advance who it is they are their to detain.
