They only have 600 cops.
The populace is 400k Americans.
Gun ownership is estimated at 45% of Minneapolis households.
If even 1-5% of housholds decided to violently oppose ICE with force, they would outnumber ICE on day one.

Rev. Michael Woolf, senior minister of Lake Street Church of Evanston, was shot in the leg with a pepper ball by state police while protesting outside the Broadview ICE facility, Illinois. He writes for Religion News Service about why he continues to show up at Broadview, the atmosphere at protests there, and religious leaders' obligation to resist tyranny.
