#Introduction continued because I realized after I hit send that I left out some important info. I’ve been married for 13 years to @sblarose and she needs to start using #Mastodon more. I have one daughter from a previous marriage, 22 years old, and she currently chooses to not have any contact with me. I hope/pray that won’t be forever. Sarah and I are Christians, definitely #progressive and absolutely #affirming with all that implies. Okay, I think I’ve covered it all now.

#Introduction I keep meaning to update the bio on my profile, but until/unless I do this I’m going to post a proper intro here, since I haven’t done so since I joined the #Fediverse 3 years ago. I’m Kevin, 61 years old, currently living in #Tennessee but was born in #California and lived most of my life in Washington State, both Spokane and Seattle. Blind since birth, but while it certainly can make everyday life annoying sometimes and downright frustrating at other times, to me that’s just a factoid. I hold explicitly #progressive views, and right now I’m voting exclusively #Democratic because, and please hear me here, there is no other bloody choice! I struggle with depression, and the past year has taken a huge toll on my mental health, with no end in sight. I do persevere, and a huge shout out to #Mastodon for being there when I’ve really needed support. Thanks for just being there!
