my husband got the Silksong true ending with 100% completion. What a magnificent piece of art. This is what a few people can do with a vision and all the time and funding they need to do it right – no compromises.
If you weren't really aware of Silksong during the Long Era of Waiting For Silksong but now you're curious: don't attempt it until you've played its predecessor, Hollow Knight (which is also one of the best games ever made). Silksong was originally meant to be an expansion for Hollow Knight and assumes you already have a good grasp of the general mechanics and genre conventions. They are hard games, hard enough that I have to settle for watching my husband because my reflexes aren't great.
Also, Hornet is... probably the most culturally successful Female Video Game Protagonist ever, now?

on the one hand, i hate to add to the unbearable noise of BUY THINGS! and PROMOTIONAL CONTENT! but on the other hand, no one will know that i’m a little art-making creature and that some of my art gets made into prints and stationery and neat stuff you can own if i don’t make a concerted effort to try to tell you. and it would be really cool if you considered giving your support to artists who are probably just trying to pay the bills rather than line the pockets of exploitive mega-businesses where you can. i know it’s kind of inevitable that we can’t always make that choice, but where you can, whether it’s me and my silly artworks, or another artist you think is a good person making neat things, and it’s within your means to do so, your support means so much to us.

Finished #HollowKnight #Silksong! Great game, well worth the wait. I only wish I'd found the Wanderer Crest before late Act 2 and that exploration in Act 3 wasn't such a pain. All in all, superb game.
