My personal view is that it all went wrong

for Starmer when he couldn't bring himself

to say that cutting off power and water to

Gaza wasn't OK. He lost his credibility as

a humanitarian and a human rights lawyer.

He knew the answer. He couldn't say so.

That was his moment.

So apparently there's this big #FediForum coming up tomorrow & on weekend in #VancouverBC. I was thinking about attending for a few hours as 2 of the nonprofits not on Mastodon yet were willing to pay for me to go. Unfortunately - the organizers seem to be very #ableist.

I sent a direct question about their #CovidSafety protocols because their event site info had ZERO info for concerned people who don't want to catch covid at any forum/convention. No answer at all. This lack of providing public information on #Covid & how they plan to mitigate, lack of answers on my direct public safety question -> top shelf #ableism.

This event isn't #inclusive.

I wouldn't have to call out your #Vancouver #FediCon if your organizers weren't so fucking ignorant about #PeopleWithDisabilities in the first place. Your event organizer is an #ableist & I've yet to see any of you people listed on their public info - as speakers - calling them out for their #ableism
