But then Labour nowadays only makes a poor pretence at listening to the party membership - funding is really sought from the rich and powerful.

I am both excited for and incredibly jealous of New Yorkers who showed the whole world that, yes, voting does matter and it does make a difference.
It is rare to find someone who is *this* dedicated to civic service and willing to enter politics.
