Cleaning out the house (because we're selling it), I find loads of old stuff. Just found the iPhone 5 that got ran over, and PC games on CD-Rom ( #Pratchett's Discworld, Unreal Tournament 1998..)
Trip down memory lane. And almost all going to the bin.

On the note of #Pratchett, after having swept through the whole Death storyline, I am trying to get into the witches one with Wyrd Sisters and actually finding it a bit difficult.

(I'm revising a novel that needed an extra interstitial chapter, and brainstorming aloud helps force me to linearize my ideas—the author equivalent of rubber duck debugging. In this case ... well, he was already assured of a place in the credits, anyway.)
@cstross Just been rereading "A Life With Footnotes" by Rob Wilkins (biography of #TerryPrachett). He says that #Pratchett had a list of people he would phone up to discuss plot problems. But frequently he would explain the problem and then suddenly hang up without the person at the other end saying very much.

Sometimes it’s a shape on the horizon. Sometimes it’s not there at all, which means that the artist either has made a deliberate decision against the mountain, which is interesting in itself, or is in fact standing on Mt. Fuji.

I didn't need the Book as I already have two copies, but I bought Night Watch by Sir Terry Pratchett as it's now a Penguin Classic... A bloody Penguin Classic... Best book he wrote imo.... Did I mention it's a Penguin Classic
