The Global Sumud Flotilla tracker is down, showing only a Vercel error. Coincidence? Did they take it down?

Vercel also maintains #NextJS.
A year ago was a good time to leave #Vercel. Now is still a good time.
Guillermo Rauch of #Vercel should watch this Last Week Tonight episode about his best buddy Benjamin Netanyahu.
On the other hand: It would probably not change his opinion since he’s apparently onboard with the far right and crimes against humanity.

👀 Vercel + Next.js are in the hot seat.
CEO Guillermo Rauch posted about meeting Netanyahu → dev backlash, boycott calls, Paul Graham weighing in, and rivals like Replit offering migration paths.
Reminder: Next.js is MIT, you don’t need Vercel hosting. Options exist.

Uff... I wasn't fan of #Vercel before, but after seeing THIS https://x.com/rauchg/status/1972669025525158031?t=aYeYUPJOrAwZynlEJWtxkg&s=19 ... it is clear that it deserves the strongest boycott possible.
At this point I'm afraid to ask about the positions of certain web frameworks that obtain funding from them...
Thinking about moving off Vercel? 🚀
I wrote a deep-dive guide on the best hosting alternatives for web devs in 2025 — costs, trade-offs, and my real migration lessons.

Okta observes Vercel's v0 AI generation tool used to build phishing sites (as predicted by absolutely no one, of course, because how could we have possibly seen this happening?)

Another framework jumps the Vercel Trump supporter shark. Kinda glad I stopped using Nuxt years ago.
Web platform fundamentals is where it’s at. They can’t be sold off to a random fash corp. Ditch the layers and layers of frameworks and just use HTML, CSS, and JS. Those are actually good and nowadays well-maintained programming languages.

Just in case you still liked Rauch despite being a serial grifter
