@lowqualityfacts I thought Jackson was a lover, not a fighter.
On International Worker’s Day, Greenpeace activists and volunteers joined our trade union allies in the streets around the world because we are united by common values. It’s #TimeToResist the bullies of the world.

@greenpeace very good. "Environmentalism without social justice is just gardening"
NodeBB v4.11.0 Release Notes
Hi everybody — late last week we released v4.11.0, which contains the following changes:
ActivityPub Specific Fixes
AP analytics and error pages
New pages have been added to the control panel to display analytics (send/receive counts) and error counts. There is also a new error page that will show error received within the last 24 hours, and their respective payloads. This will aid in debugging federation issues.

So Fediverse app #HolosSocial just added support for this in their latest iOS beta:
"Holos Social 1.5.5 (34)
Support for web+ap:// links (fedilinks): to open profiles and posts directly in Holos."
This is a big milestone for a key fix myself and Sean wrote about here, to help make remote fediverse content more seemlessly available. EVERY Fediverse mobile app should support this and follow their lead. 🧵 1/2

Wordpress is a strange platform try and actually get working with ActivityPub in a meaningful way. While I do enjoy Sharkey I'd love to not have to pay for multiple subscriptions just to run my website and interact with people on the Fediverse.

We could easily feed, house and provide healthcare to everyone many times over.
Overpopulation arguments ignore the elephant in the room, which is the unequal distribution and consumption of resources.
The earth can support billions, but it cannot support billionaires.
@IAmDannyBoling same. Sooooo very grateful I got out of tech just before the AI craze really started eating people's brains.
Amount of AI I use at work: 0
Amount I am falling behind my peers: Also 0
Maybe AI is a thing for some people but not for me.

The new #FediForum videos are up :)
Prior to this, he just expected to... win the elections. The Midterms, the illegal 3rd term he intends to run for - he just assumed he'd win.
Now he realizes he won't. Attacking Iran was not a magic I win button after all, and he doesn't have any ideas left.
But he has Stephen Miller. And Stephen Miller knows a way to retain power even if you can't win elections.
And thus - everything that's happened the past three weeks or so.
@AnarchoNinaWrites it's going to be a long bloody path before we approach something like stability again.
When Diesel hits $12 a gallon is around when things start really breaking down.
I'm guessing August to October for when the US is no longer a viable political entity.
But that will not be a single event; more something that will be recognized in retrospect.

Many companies are looking at different ways to do this (like the stare-into-the-IR-beam company above). All of them have huge safety, tech, and/or feasibility issues.
@sundogplanets Funny, we already have a great, big power source in space, and we’re building more and more receivers every day.
WATCH: “How are you proposing a map and you don’t know anything about it?” 🤔 Sen. John Stevens shamelessly pretends not to know 🤷🏼Memphis is majority-Black as Sen. london lamar grills him about racist Republican 9-0 congressional maps. (because for lawsuit reasons they can’t admit it’s about race)
