@mastodonmigration Donald Trump won't be on the ballot, it will be Gavin Newsom (because the DNC doesn't have democratic federal primaries and they already ordained him) and someone 8% to the right of Gavin Newsom of unknown specific identity because the GOP has an actual democratic primary process. Probably Marco Rubio or MTG. Gavin v MTG I'm sitting out or voting third party, sorry.
Don't know your age, but we are about to get the first real primary in 20 years (Obama was the last one). Since then they have all been incumbents or VPs, so most people have never seen a real Dem primary contest. Real primaries expose who has real political ability and hone their game. Would be very surprised if Newsom last very long. He is prerty awkward and CA voters really don't like him. There are a few potentially good candidates. We are in for a real show.

@ai6yr @onyxraven I've never actually used a percolator, but I know some people swear by them. Isn't the problem for large urns like that that you have to keep percolating in order to keep the coffee hot?

The X3D is L3 cache in a 7nm node, in addition to the fairly-respectably sized CCD on-die L1 and L2 caches in 5nm or 4nm nodes.
In 2006, AMD licensed "Z-RAM" technology for a so-called 1T SRAM (of course, actually DRAM) for cache use, but never used it in production. The L1, L2, and X3D caches are all 6T SRAM.

One thing that *is* true is that a pure SRAM die needs way fewer metal layers than a CPU die, even if the process node is the same.

@onyxraven Yeah, the key is to add a LOT OF COFFEE. The bad coffee ie because 1. cheap coffee and 2. not enough of it. You can overcome #1 by adding a lot, lol.

The "lease-and-equip" model they're switching to is a lot easier to get rid of, when we eventually kick these digital imperialists out altogether.
