My family are all going away for a few days. To thrilling places. Some are going to Valencia for a city break. Others to a rave festival. I shall be at home. Working and whatnot. I've just bought my supplies for when they're away. What's that, I hear you all cry expectantly?! Cheeseburgers and crisps and vodka and viagra and cocaine? No. I appear to have got a bunch of salad ingredients and some alcohol-free beers. Move over, Jim Morrison, there's a new guy in town. 😎

My routine:
- Walk into room, turning the lights on as I go past.
- Leave the room, thinking 'I will be back here in a minute, I'll leave the lights on'.
- Walk back into the room a couple of minutes later, turning the lights off as I go past.
- Wonder why it's dark in here.

@stefano You may want to look at the org.zfsbootmenu:readonly zpool option, which will stop ZFSBootMenu from importing the pool as read-write (and possibly corrupting the pool).
@tsukasa The changelog of ZFSBootMenu 1.6.0 says: "The import process now relies on zpool import -N -a -o readonly=on to attempt to import all available and otherwise healthy pools in read-only mode."
You *can* force it in rw but, as far as I know, it won't do it if you don't instruct it to do differently.
@thejpster @thomasfuchs @bitsavers I've been doing the whole "don't recommend this channel" on everything with AI-generated thumbnails, and it doesn't particularly help.
There are a seemingly infinite number of AI-generated channels now, just like Amazon is flooded with FLACN (five-letter-acronym-company-name) spam.
It's effectively free to throw slop against the wall to see what sticks.
@rogerlipscombe @thejpster @bitsavers Those are at least easy to spot. The worst are the documentary mills that seem legitimate at first (channel has been around for years, actual human person visible narrating it sometimes), but then somehow they make one 45-minute documentary every week and have 50k subscribers.
I know that Elon Musk gets a lot of hate on here, but hear me out.
I think we could hate him more. We have the capacity, we all just need to put in a little more effort.
