There’s a certain … cassandra-esque irony in people getting frustrated with LLMs not “doing what they tell them”, and are now, undestanding-by-fire why domain-specific formal languages were developed in the first place.
If you want to skip straight to the part where the computer does (mostly) exactly what you tell it to do, might I recommend a programming language.

@davew with respect, how can it be a partner? A tool, certainly, but a partner has to be invested.
i've had a few coding partners in the past. i work with claude the same way i work with them. we discuss the next steps and do them and come back and to it again and again.
i have the map for the product in my head, that's usually how it usually has worked with human collaborators. but sometimes i have played the role of claude, where i was working for a director, and i like that role too. ;-)

Mi fa sempre più rabbia Giorgia Meloni; a sentirla, sembra una donna rispettosa, con cui si parlerebbe benissimo, io stessa ci starei a discutere (e litigarci) per ore. Però ha delle idee veramente spaventose. Come quel famigerato cavallo di legno pieno di soldati che ha distrutto una città con l'inganno. Meloni ha in mente di distruggere il sistema dall'interno, è questo il punto! E perché? Perché abbiamo un'opposizione che non conta niente.
