I'm not really interested in deplatforming anymore. Hiding ideas and opinions from people seems like a losing game. I'm much more interested in talking about how you build relationships where you can communicate about hard things, relationships of care and honesty that help people see hatred and exploitation for what it is and say "no thanks".
(To clarify, I do think it's important for people and organizations with reach to be thoughtful about sharing stuff that aligns with their values. I don't think there's anything wrong with changing your mind after pushback either. But ideally that comes from relationships of care, too.)

I have a more complicated view of AI than an automatic “fuck off”, but if you’re in Kind County and use libraries, definitely worth sharing your views.
It’s not completely clear to me what they’re considering. Reading between lines I see maybe chatbots on the site (no thank you) and maybe some educational programs for people who don’t know about AI now (could be good, depending on what’s presented).

@recollir Well, you do you. I have less and less time to draw routes, and this works exactly like it would with Squadrats. I often draw a familiar route in my city to the point where there are more unfamiliar routes. This does the exact same thing without me having to spend time on it. But I often change the route while running. This is just pre-planning and guidelines. Each to their own. For me, part of the fun is the mystery, and this adds to the fun, not lessens it.

Mi sono davvero stancata di sentir parlare del "caso Garlasco" - da notare che viene ormai chiamato sempre così, neanche più "delitto", e mai per quello che è ossia "omicidio di Chiara Poggi". La reputazione di un intero paese è distrutta per sempre, i media sguazzano pur non sapendo granché di scienza, nel migliore dei casi c'è un innocente indagato e nel peggiore un innocente che s'è fatto quasi 20 anni di galera al posto di un altro...
E in tutto questo, mai una parola per la povera Chiara che rimane solo uno sfondo. Tanto più che su youtube è pieno di creator che parlano di questo caso, solo perché "fa hype" senza dire nulla di rilevante.
