I'm not really interested in deplatforming anymore. Hiding ideas and opinions from people seems like a losing game. I'm much more interested in talking about how you build relationships where you can communicate about hard things, relationships of care and honesty that help people see hatred and exploitation for what it is and say "no thanks".
(To clarify, I do think it's important for people and organizations with reach to be thoughtful about sharing stuff that aligns with their values. I don't think there's anything wrong with changing your mind after pushback either. But ideally that comes from relationships of care, too.)
